Portugal is playing a game of eligibility for the 2020 European Championship and will face its first match or break tour with Group B opponent Serbia on Saturday. Fernando Santos' team boasted of playing, but in their previous qualification draw against Serbia 1-0, they were at risk of falling behind if they did not get three points in Belgrade.

Although the match must be won long before Portugal qualify to dub this match, the loss of something other than a victory may lead them to fight to hold on to the deficit.
