NFL 2019 Preseason Live Stream

The National Football League preseason is the period each year during which NFL teams war out several not-for-the-sticker album exhibition games to the lead the actual "regular" season starts. Beginning when the featured Pro Football Hall of Fame game in yet to be August, five weekends of exhibition games are played in the NFL as of 2019. The set in motion of the preseason is intrinsically tied to the last week of training camp.

In the early years of the sport, teams are often "barnstormed," and squads of players from their own leagues or against local college teams or other amateur groups charge fans who carry the traffic.

When the NFL was founded in 1920, all games were counted in the standings and used to determine league champions. In 1921, it was modified to count games with only two league members, thus allowing non-league exhibits, but effectively banning exhibitions between two league teams. The rule had a direct effect on the 1921 championship decision-making, in which the losing team emphasized that the decision-making game should be considered merely an exhibition.

In 1920, the league changed the rules to declare any games held in December or later. In the mid-1930s, teams prepared for a regular 12-game regular-season schedule, although 1939 teams scheduled non-league exhibition games both before and during the season.

The teams playing in the Pro Football Hall of Fame game are determined by the league, which includes an AFC team and an NFC team. At the close of the Super Bowl, when the Hall of Fame induction was announced, its matchup was announced well in advance. In some situations, the matchup is well planned in the future. For example, a matchup announced on the 5th, the Buccaneers played the Steelers in the Hall of Fame game on the 5th.

It was also common for division opponents to play against each other due to the large size of the pre-synthesis division, but that didn't happen since the Seattle Seahawks played the Oakland Raiders since 2000.

As of that year, the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers both played a predecessor game, despite being bitter rivals. The San Diego Chargers pre-empted their division rivals Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs in the 5th.

After the league was restored in 2002 when the NFL began forming 12 teams, usually no more than two areas would play separately to prevent the team from traveling longer. However, there have been some exceptions. At 27, the San Diego Chargers played the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta. The San Francisco 49ers played the Baltimore Ravens in 2014, and the Los Angeles Rams played the Baltimore Ravens in 2018, both in Baltimore.
